As a Clinical Specialist, you will provide professional clinical support to customers (primarily physicians, nurses, and techs), through education and training regarding our Biopatch product. You will quickly become an extension and work collaborative our field sales force and District Management. Pivotal to your success will be your ability to develop effective working relationships with the customers in your territory, with whom you'll interact on a regular basis. The incumbent will represent BIOPATCH at trade shows, conventions and in key accounts.
1. Complete training and be certified on our BIOPATCH product line.
2. Provide routine follow-up support to customers at end-user locations as needed.
3. Develop strong, working relationships with end-users while providing product in-servicing and clinical education.
4. Assist field sales in collection of product data to support team business case and clinical effectiveness of BIOPATCH product.
5. Educate and inform end-users of clinical effectiveness and technical aspects of BIOPATCH.
6. Assist in the distribution of product educational materials and programs.
7. Support trade shows, educational events and National sales meetings as requested.
8. Assist field sales staff identify sales opportunities and present outcomes of clinical data to end-users.
9. Assist sales personnel by disseminating marketing materials to nurses, physicians and other end-users.
10. Educates facility nurses and physicians on the proper techniques and technologies to help prevent catheter related bloodstream and local infections and complications.
11. Plan and implement educational seminars and training programs.
12. Remain current with literature/practice and BIOPATCH products/services and their clinical application.
